21. Thora (Tora) KNUDSDATTER AULI (ANDERSEN)
Named after her paternal grandmother.
When Hans died, Thora moved to a smaller cottage opposite their house in Gundersen Road.
Thora's last few years were lived with her daughter, Mabel, in Auckland.

Farmed at Gundries Road, Garfield, Norsewood, Tararua, New Zealand.
Hans and Thora moved to a house, on what is now known as Gundersen Road, when their son, Ken, took over the farm.
68. Bernhard ("Bert") GUNDERSEN
Bernhard was a veteran of the Gallipoli campaign. He returned uninjured. While in Europe, he met up with his uncles, Robert ANDERSEN and Ole ANDERSEN, before they were killed. Farmed near Dannevirke, Tararua, New Zealand.
69. Kenneth Robert ("Ken") GUNDERSEN
Ken joined the army, but did not travel overseas. Ken took over his parents' farm at Gundries Road, Garfield, Norsewood, Tararua, New Zealand. Farmed at Ruawai, North Auckland, New Zealand. (Personal Correspondence: Bev CORBETT (New Zealand), letter, 16 Mar 2007.)

Sigur and Bertha worked on a sheep station out of Mokau.
They went off to Fiji in the 1920's along with a Just MORTENSEN and his daughter, Iris, where they helped establish a sawmill and introduced Fijians to rugby.

Clarence married (1) Anne Emilie ("Annie") ERICKSEN, then (2) Nellie LEAN (nee ERICKSEN). These 2 women were first cousins.
