"Norsewood
On Thursday last, Mr Lars W. AMUNDSEN was married to Miss Lucy R. HENSON, by our ever popular Registrar, Mr A. WEBBER. The happy occasion was celebrated in the usual way, only more so. The Town Hall was the scene of the festivities. About 6pm with the guests pretty well all arrived, dancing was commenced, the music supplied by Mr W. BEALE. Mrs WRIGHT had charge of the catering and that it was all that could be desired, goes without saying. Mrs HENSON, mother of the bride ably assisted by the Misses PETTERSON & NORDBYE were undefatigable in their endeavours to see the wants of the visitors cared for. Norsewood Brass Band were in attendance and songs were sung by the bride, Messrs JONES, Hans PETTERSON, MITCHELL & HEGH.There were about 100 people present and the proverbial little bird whispered that there were other couples in the room who will shortly go and do likewise. The bride and bridesmaids wore white silk."
