NORSEWOOD ROAD BOARD...
CORRESPONDENCE. From Johan THORESEN, requesting the Board to fell two rimu trees between JOHANSEN's last contract and a creek near his (THORESEN's) land, as he was about to fence, and the trees would damage the fence when they fell. —The Chairman did not know which was JOHANSEN's last contract. — Mr JOHANSEN thought that Carl's road was meant, but on being shown that it was on THORESEN's road that the trees stood, he said that it must be where F. JOHANSEN had worked. There were some trees standing there, but he was not quite sure if they were on the road.— Mr HANSEN described the shape of the road at that place. There was a big rata standing there.— Ordered to stand over until some of the members could visit the place.
